First off, I think its sooo weird that my first post (coincidently) was exactly one month from today! Second, I’m extremely disappointed that it took me a whole month to put up another post! Yikes! Although being a Junior Finance major at Howard University is a huge commitment; I’m going to hold myself accountable and be more consistent with my blog.

Anywho, I’m sooo sad that I missed Gaga's concert in my hometown NY at Radio City music hall. I'm sure her show was marvelous, that’s my bish! I’m actually obsessed with her, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one. Its interesting how she gained popularity more so from her eccentric style rather than her music. I love her for both :)

Rihanna Go Hard or Go Home

Rihanna is definitely one of my top 3 favorite artists of 09 next to Kid Cudi and lady Gaga; because of their individual style and visionary ability. Her personal style has evolved into a cool, edgy, couture, rockstar look. I love it! As you can see in the above photo she’s wearing a Jeremy Scott Mickey Ears Helmet, bullet bra, and short cut-off shorts. This is one of the many military inspired outfits from her new “Hard” video. This year has been a rollercoaster ride for Rihanna and some might blame the domestic violence incident with singer/former boyfriend Chris Brown for her drastic transformation. However, if you look back at Rihanna’s career her evolutionary style shouldn’t be a surprise. From “We ride” to “Umbrella” to “Russian Roulette;” Rihanna has had a smooth style transition.

Since this is my FIRST post, I’m going to keep it short and sweet. As 09 reaches an end Rihanna is definitely closing it with a bang,as far as her music and fashion. I appreciate her style transformation and can’t wait to see what’s next!!
